Save the Wolves

Good morning to a virtuoso artist with a loving, compassionate heart. I thought I'd better re-visit this lovely artwork of yours since I love wildlife as well. I thought about you about a week ago when I was in Rocky Mountain National Park in northern Colorado. A big herd of Elk and people were mingling quite amicably. You can actually get within just 50 feet or so from those amazing bull elk with their majestic antlers. They're really used to people. They know nobody is gonna hurt them. I also saw a huge bull moose grazing by a pond with his reflection in perfectly calm water. I wonder if you've ever read a truly great book titled WOMEN WHO RUN WITH THE WOLVES by Clarissa Pinkola Estes. In this case running with wolves is mostly metaphorical. I won't give away too much of the book; but it's mostly about getting in touch with the light in your soul, living an authentic life, and having a zest for life. If you haven't read it, do yourself a huge favor, stop by your local library, and read it. It's one of those must-read books.

Good Saturday morning to beautiful Karen Wallo, the artist with a poetic, musical soul and a heart of gold. I listened to your entire interview with that Ted guy. I really stand in awe of your musical talent, your highly impressive accomplishments, and your dedication to preserving wildlife. That points to your loving, compassionate heart. If the wind ever blows you to our neck of the woods, you'll have a chance to visit Colorado Wolf And Wildlife Rescue a short distance from here in Teller County. You can actually sit down with wolves and take pictures with them. They might even give you a kiss or two. I've been there a few times. The owner, Darlene, is quite an animal lover like you. She rescues abandoned and injured wolves, coyotes and other animals and provides them with a safe, nurturing environment. Now, I need to go back to your website and learn more about you. You sound like a truly fascinating, amazing lady. It's an honor to have met you on this site.

Thanks so much, Tony!! So glad you enjoy it. It's a very special piece dedicated to my beloved wolf dog Kaya who crossed the Rainbow Bridge in 2018. There are 3 prominent stars in the sky that are also dedicated to my beloved brother, and 2 other dogs (all in Heaven) Jody and KC. The original painting is available as well..:)
